2025 Ford F-150 Platinum Plus Gets Price Hike, More Luxury

The Ford F-150 has been given a price update for the 2025MY, which includes some price cuts and increases depending on the variant. However, if you’re gunning for the luxurious version of America’s favorite pickup truck, the F-150 Platinum Plus, you will have to shell out more dough than before, but for good reason. The most expensive half-ton Ford truck before the F-150 Raptor is back this year with more premium materials, updated design, and enhanced ownership experiences.

The Platinum Plus can be configured with the 2025 Ford F-150 SuperCrew 4×4 with a 5.5-foot box. It can only be had with the 3.5-liter PowerBoost Hybrid V6 that generates 430 horsepower and 570 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard 7.2kW Pro Power Onboard. It still looks distinct with the “Platinum” hood wordmark, 22-inch premium painted wheels with chrome inserts, satin accents, and a single exhaust, but most of the updates for 2025 are found within the cabin.

Now Comes With Everything But The Kitchen Sink

If you want the premium F-150, the Platinum Plus is as good as it gets. Like before, it’s upholstered with quilted leather seats and floor mats, but the material now extends up to the front and rear door cards. It also comes with a suede headliner, a leather-wrapped instrument panel, enhanced soft-touch surfaces, real wood inlays on the Interior Work Surface, and an exclusive Smoked Truffle interior color scheme.

Even better, the F-150 Platinum Plus now comes with features exclusively available with the Platinum High package, namely the premium B&O Unleashed Sound System by Bang & Olufsen, a head-up display, and a twin-panel moonroof. These goodies go with the luxurious multi-contour seats with Ford’s Active Motion technology, equipped with heating, ventilation, and various powered adjustments and memory (for the driver). Other features included are illuminated scuff plates and tray-style floor liners.

Ford Ranger Hybrid Is Better Than F-150 Hybrid In One Key Area

Ford is electrifying its midsize pickup truck, and the Blue Oval has now unveiled further technical specifications of the plug-in Ranger.

Of course, all of that literally comes with a higher price for the 2025MY. The Ford F-150 Platinum Plus is priced at $89,245 with destination and handling this year – a nearly $2,000 hike from before. The base F-150 Platinum truck is pricier by $860, while the package itself has increased by $970. Worse, the 2024 version comes with a hefty $1,900 discount for choosing the hybrid setup, which we’re not seeing for the 2025MY – well, at least for now.
